It is a short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) that is part of the so-called POSTBIOTICS, a micro-encapsulation system where it causes the Butyrate triglyceride to have a delayed intestinal release to reach the final parts of the colon intestine. Zinc contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and the normal metabolism of macronutrients.
