Eupeptina is indicated for constipation in childhood, especially in infants, where it acts by producing normal, painless bowel movements. Eupeptin facilitates the digestion of milk and prevents its spoilage. When mixed with milk, it breaks down the clot that forms in the stomach, making it more easily digested by gastric juices. Children fed milk mixed with Eupeptin do not usually suffer from gastroenteritis, indigestion, or vomiting. How to use: Since Eupeptina has several uses (sometimes as a laxative and other times as a prophylactic for gastroenteritis, indigestion, and vomiting), the dosage must be prescribed by the physician; as a guideline, we provide the following: Children from one day to one year: one or two level teaspoons (coffee spoons), twice a day. Children from one to five years old or older: from the previous dose up to four level teaspoons (coffee spoons), three times a day.
