Paranix Lotion, with its tried-and-tested efficacy, is an effective head lice treatment: its dual-action formula not only suffocates but also dehydrates lice and eggs. Because Paranix Lotion does not contain insecticides, lice cannot develop a resistance to its ingredients. All you have to do is follow the instructions below step by step. STEP 1: Check for the presence of lice. Use the Paranix fine-toothed lice comb and thoroughly check all dry hair of each member of your family, preferably in daylight. Apply the treatment to everyone with lice on the same day to prevent re-infestation. It is easier to check on dry hair. First, brush the hair to detangle it, then check it strand by strand. Check the hair roots, behind the ears, and on the nape of the neck, as these are where lice and nits are usually found. After each use, clean the nit comb thoroughly with warm soapy water to prevent future infestations. PARANIX LOTION ABOUT LICE ABOUT PARANIX LOTION TREATMENT HOW TO USE PARANIX LOTION? Updated August 2017 STEP 2: Apply Paranix Lotion Shake the bottle before use. Apply a sufficient amount of Paranix Lotion evenly to dry hair. Make sure to apply it all over the hair and scalp. Massage thoroughly from roots to ends, paying special attention to the neck area and behind the ears. 100ml = up to 4 applications, depending on hair length. STEP 3: Wash your hair After treatment (15 minutes), wash your hair with a cosmetic shampoo; directly onto the hair, without wetting it first. Lather your head and then rinse thoroughly with water (be careful not to use cold water). Repeat the washing procedure. STEP 4: Eliminate lice and nits Before drying your hair, use the fine-tooth lice comb (Paranix) to eliminate lice and nits. 1. Comb damp hair with the fine-tooth lice comb. 2. Divide your hair into 4 sections: from the forehead to the nape of the neck and from one ear to the other. With long hair, you can braid each section. 3. Treat each section by separating the hair in sections so that the scalp is visible. 4. Comb each section starting as close to the scalp as possible. 5. Using the nit comb, remove any lice and/or nits found. 6. Move each section of hair that remains free of lice and/or nits to one side. 7. To prevent re-infestation, clean the nit comb with a cotton pad after passing it through each strand. Always comb from the top of the head to the bottom. STEP 5: Repeat the treatment after 7 days if necessary. After 7 days, check dry hair for lice again. Repeat the treatment only after 7 days if necessary. There is no risk in repeating the treatment several times. For external use only. Do not inhale. Do not use on people sensitive to its components.
