Conservative expectant treatment (non-surgical) for the duration of fertile life, in elderly people, or in very mild manifestations in which surgical intervention has been ruled out. How to use: Sanitize the pessary before first use, boiling it in water at 100ºC for 3 to 5 minutes, or sterilizing it with steam at 134ºC for 5 minutes. Use specific lubricants for silicone products (available in pharmacies), or a lubricant product prescribed by your doctor. To place the pessary you must squeeze on the sides, giving it an elongated shape and insert it into the vagina. Once in place, the pessary returns to its initial ring shape. Whenever you remove the pessary from the vagina, it should be sanitized by boiling it in water at 100ºC for 3 to 5 minutes. Then proceed to place it according to sections 2 and 3.
